Da Vinci Art Alliance 2010

July 21, 2010

Dear Vaughn

Thank you for submitting your artwork for the Da Vinci Art Alliance’s 2010 juried exhibition, Apocalypse Soon: 2012.

On Tuesday, July 21st, the judge for the exhibition, Elin Danien, Consulting Scholar, University of Pennsylvania Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology, viewed over 70 artworks by 31 artists. Ms. Danien closely examined the artworks for aesthetic and thematic approaches. There were so many excellent artworks, that her decision was a very difficult one.

Congratulations! Your art has been accepted for the August Apocalypse Soon exhibition. Ms. Danien has selected the following pieces:

1. Road Ends

2. Ghost House

We hope that you will attend the opening reception and awards ceremony for the exhibition to be held on Sunday, August 8, 1-4 pm. There will also be a lecture at 1:00 pm by Brujo de la Mancha on Mexican Identity in the 21st Century, exploring the rich spirituality of Aztec dance, followed by a curator’s tour of the exhibition by Dr. Debra Miller.

Sincerely Yours,

David Foss
